When he called, the human race pathetic Ace couldn't help but bristle slightly physically and mentally Watch yourself there sunshine. granted, she was Time Lord now in her own right, but she had started life as a human, both races were tremendously flawed, but they both held a special place in her hearts.
She watched as The Master ran his tongue over his lips, reaching down Ace casually flicked the clasp securing her blaster to her side in case she had to reach for it fast.
I have no end game. They, Ace nodded her head towards the one-way window wanted you for something way I figure probably study, me personally I’d prefer to shove you out the nearest airlock on some form of spacecraft.
"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
The Master gave the woman a pout, though, whether it carried any true weight behind it was another question. So touchy. It was not his fault that he had deemed the humans to be a primitive race - though on a number of occasions had helped him in his own plans of world domination.
The drums were beating faster now, and he closed his eyes momentarily as he listened to the clasp click off. There was a need for him to find out who this woman was, the hostility was warranted - through his long lives and multiple counts of wrong-doing. But, for a Timelady to have tracked him down and the name 'Time's Vigilante' ran in his head, questions could only be asked.
A slow grin made his way onto his features as his eyes opened again. His feet began to move, from one corner to the next; nearer to the one-way mirror. "All humans do is study, they seem something and they want to cut it up." He retorted. "And, if they want me alive they would not want you using that blaster of yours now, would they?" There was a moment of silence as The Master looked the woman up and down, with an air of disregard. The grin remained fixed on his face, Though, the air lock doesn't seem so bad. There were plenty of options once aboard the craft, though it was no TARDIS, it was at least a step up from the planet.

There was a squelch over the loud speaker like bad feedback and nails on a chalkboard all rolled into one " Ms. McShane, please secure your side arm, or we will be forced to terminate your contact with the prisoner."
Ace's eyes flicker from The Master to the oneway mirror with mild annoyance. Thanks, guys, thanks for that Ace thought to herself before returning her attention to The Master.
Holding her hand up slowly so they could see her clearly, Ace moved her hand down and secured the clasp on her blaster. "One of humanity's greatest draw backs is that it tries to destroy what it doesn't understand." don't tempt me.
A slow smile of satisfaction settled itself across the Master's lips as the intercom had rattled off the woman's name at last. It had just been a matter of waiting it out - humans were stupid like that. "Ms. McShane...oh, now I know, the one who shot me. It's always the women, isn't it?" He gave her a wink as he proceeded along the one-way mirror, closing the distance upon Ace.
They had encountered one another before, though, this time, she wore a different face leading him to the assumption that she had indeed regenerated. "And, it's sweet. You and UNIT, working on a contract." He replied after a brief moment of silence.
Don't tempt me.
His smile quickly turned into a smirk, "Now, now. We have plenty of time for that. Just consider what the Doctor would think of one of his pets after that." The Master paced around the room at a more leisurely pace as he took in the diameters and layout of the simple room. There was not much else around except from the gurney in which he had been tied to only moments prior and the table in which Ace had sat herself down behind. But, if you took up my offer of throwing me out of an airlock, you would have to break me out of UNIT.
Ace smirked a little when he stated that it was always the women, she figured he was making reference to the human woman that had been his wife when he was the prime minister. Crossing her arms across her chest again “Oh yes, I had heard rumors of you taking a human wife during your time as prime minister, now what was her name?” reaching up Ace rubbed the side of the bridge of her nose “…Lucy was it?”
He was getting too close to her for her liking. “Not a contract so much, more of a fulfillment a debt.” But Ace knew if she moved or showed any sigh of backing up it would be seen as a weakness, and then exploited, so she stood her ground.
The way he referred to her one of The Doctors “pets.” Ace was having, no part of “Don’t call me that.” What? To get shot in the back, no thanks Mate.
"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
How could he ever forget her? Not after her little stunt upon the Valiant and her role in his resurrection. "Lucy was completely into me, I should add. It was my natural charm that had brought her to my side, not very bright but I give her loyalty points instead." Did he hold a small room of compassion for her or was it an elaborate ruse to pull people into voting for him? No one would know except from himself, the fact only for his head and the drums only.
To give Ace credit, she had stood her ground. But, fully acknowledging that if she moved - he would have gained the upper hand. The Master smirked down at her as she told him not to call her a pet, in which only tempted him even more.
'What? To get shot in the back, no thanks Mate.'
Honestly, and I thought I couldn't make up my mind - do you or do you not want the opportunity to throw me out of an airlock? He huffed, knowing that he would not make it out of that door without being shot at least several times in the back. UNIT were a bunch of primitive apes, but certainly held a certain level of threat at the current moment he was in. Besides, they had been useful in giving out information about the woman.
"So! Let the twenty questions begin then, shall we?"

She watched The Master as he walked the room "Honestly, and I thought I couldn't make up my mind - do you or do you not want the opportunity to throw me out of an airlock?" Ace frowned, but she knew how that would look like to The Doctor and he was right about that. Going back over to the table she picked her shades back up and looked at them for a second.
They were due for a one on one chat of some form or another and they were going to get no were with UNIT over listening "Sit down." She indicated the chair across from where she was standing We'll need to at least seem to them like there's no undercurrent conversation she could not believe she was doing this.

"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
The Master did as he was told, he was the prisoner in this situation but he could entertain himself as much as he wanted with the new Ace around. He smirked at the undercurrent of conversation that had passed through his own mind. He took a seat, allowing it to gratingly glide across the floor for a couple moments before properly sitting.

Ok, she hadn’t expected him to comply without some sort of comeback, but she’d take it.
Sitting down across from him “So tell me,” I’d read stories in the libraries of Gallifrey that some Time Lords who could slow time for a short bit when the need required it, can you do that? she asked trying to cover all their options “About how many humans has your hunger caused you to kill?” also while she was at it, could at least get UNIT some information they required.
He watched carefully, every movement of the woman as she, too, finally took her seat opposite him. He was having a rather good time, for the UNIT soldiers had little understanding of what was happening. Though he could not see their stupid impressions etched on their faces, he was pretty certain they were watching with a mix of confusion and wariness. The Master gave Ace a ghost of a smile as the question was asked.
Alas, I'm not one of those Timelords. By quite a large margin, the Master had not thought he would have confessed so easily but there was little point in getting the woman living on the false hope that indeed he or she would make it out alive. Do you know what UNIT plans on doing to me, or being incarcerated it? Because he did not want to be cut open, his hearts displayed and whatever the humans decide on doing to him.
“About how many humans has your hunger caused you to kill?”
He thought about it for a while, as he counted them on his fingers. There were the cafe workers, the hobos that he had first met, a couple of others before his encounter with the Doctor, lest to say, he couldn't remember the tally. Not that he minded much, "Quite a few....but I was so hungry."

” Alas, I'm not one of those Timelords.” frowning a little Ace let a flicker of disappointment flash across her face before steeling herself facial features once again. Shame. sometimes things just couldn’t be that easy.
Sighing Ace tapped her sunglasses on the table running over plans in her head “Do you know what UNIT plans on doing to me, or being incarcerated it?” no, she hadn’t been privileged to that information, and if they found out what they were plotting, she figured they would tell her even less, oh well.
No sadly…but I can find out it’ll take some time. They don't trust me anymore, I think it has something to do with the whole, not being human anymore. she almost pointed at her chest to indicate the two hearts but stopped that would give away the undercurrent conversation. I'll have to get information to trade with.
Watching as The Master tallied up the humans he had killed due to his “hunger” she tried to conceal a slight shudder when he said that it had been quite a few.
“Do you have a TARDIS nearby?” she thought she could hear some commotion outside slipping her sunglasses back over her eyes and tapped the side of them, scanning the room a little. We may have a problem.
"I am NOT A PROBLEM! I’m a…tactical consideration!"
The Master remained, for the large part, stoic as he fixed Ace a look. There was definitely something that they could play with there. Maybe then there is a good reason for me sticking around, then. What do they need? Maybe you can make something up - they're pretty stupid.
“Do you have a TARDIS nearby?”
Another mirthless chuckle escaped his lips as he shot her a grin, "TARDIS, me? I don't have any means of transport. Why do you think I let UNIT catch me?" The Master rolled his eyes before the commotion had reached his own ears, he sat a little straighter up in his seat, eyes narrowing at her statement.

“So, deal with it.” Ace shot The Master a look, dealing with it may be easier said than done. If she heard who she thought she heard at the other end of the commotion. Kate. Jumping up from her chair real quick Ace moved to the door, opening the door and stepping through Ace caught the young blonde woman before she could burst in.
“Get out of my way McShane.” holding up her hand Ace tried to pacify Kates wrath “Kate, now wait. Listen to me for a moment.”

The Master's eyebrow raised as Kate Stewart, the current leader of the bunch of apes who've come under to protect their planet. The planet in which he once ruled over. He could see the wrath that was spread across the young woman's face, the anger that had taken hold of her. The Master remained where he stood, a lopsided grin tugging at his mouth.

“You have no authority here Ace.” Kate politely pushed past Ace and walked into the interrogation room, Ace hung her head for a second letting out a small sigh before turning and following Kate in, slightly shutting the door behind her.
Fewer people that The Master could try to control the better “Kate I had it…” Kate cut Ace off with a look, causing Ace to roll her eyes a little behind her sunglasses.
“Not as long as I would like former prime minister Saxon.” Ace raised an eyebrow, she had been off world during that, but she hadn’t known that.
