Occupation: Store clerk, defender of the universe. 

Physical Description: Thin, 5"6ish, fair skin. Blonde, shoulder length hair with bangs that frame her face. Brown eyes, perfect teeth. 

Face Claim: Billie Piper

Personality: Rose is outgoing, but not all too happy with where she is in her life. Her attitude changes when the Doctor (in his ninth regeneration) picks her up, and shows her there are things to be happy about, good things she could do with her life. She likes to smile, enjoys good humor, and does get shy around people she doesn't really know. Certain people can bring out her brave side. 

History: When Rose was young, her father died, leaving her mother to raise her alone. She went through high school, meeting her senior boyfriend Mickey Smith, and working as a shop clerk in her hometown. 

When the mannequins in the shop she works at come to life and try to kill her, she is swept away by the Doctor to go see the universe. 

When the Doctor regenerates, she's left realizing that it might take more than a few words of comfort to allow herself to trust and love the new him. 

Rose and the Tenth Doctor quickly realize how they feel about each other, and when, in the middle of a battle between Torchwood, the Daleks, and the cybermen, Rose is trapped in an alternate dimension with her mother and father (who never died in that reality), the Doctor tries to say how he feels over a transmission. He never gets the chance to. 

The Doctor and Rose meet once again, under the eyes of the Daleks, when the Doctor is travelling with Donna. Rose has managed to blast herself from Pete's world to the Doctor's, and greets both him, and his new meta  crisis clone, with open arms. 

When the daleks are vanquished once again, the Doctor leaves his meta crisis clone in Pete's world with her, to grow old with her.

Rose Tyler prided herself on many things. 

Firstly, on her smarts. She'd graduated right under top of her class, the only one with better grades the valedictorian. 

Secondly, her powering through. She had so many times that she felt like she just couldn't make it through, so many times when all she wanted to do was shove her head in a pillow and scream. But she never did. She held her tongue, stayed strong, and powered through. 

But right now, it wasn't either of those things. Right now, it was her feelings for the Doctor. 

She took pride in loving the Doctor. And even though it sounded selfish, she said it anyway, at least to herself. 

She loved loving him, so, so much. She was so glad that she had the attention of such a wonderful man, so proud that he was the one who saw enough in her to keep her around. 

She loved being the one to see him when his hair was floppy, before he got around to spiking it up. She loved the way his tongue visibly touched the tip of his front teeth when he spoke with an "l", something so small and yet so sensual. She loved how he'd hug her, wrap his arms around her waist, bury his head in her shoulder just like she'd bury hers in his. 

So, when the Doctor shuffled into the TARDIS' living room, hair wet from a shower and hanging just barely in his eyes, shirt on his shoulders with the top buttons undone, and jeans - not slacks, dear god - hung low on his hips. 

"Hello, Miss Tyler."

There it was. Those "l"s. 

She took a deep breath, feeling her cheeks flush with embarrassment. 

"Hello, Doctor."

He flopped down on the couch next to her, laying his head in her lap and grinning up at her like a little lost puppy. she melted. There went the rest of her self control.
