Occupation: One half of a forensic science team. Musician on the side.
Physical Description: Claire is tall, dainty, and curvy. She has dark brown eyes, the kind you can get lost in, and long brown hair that frames her face. She never changes the color from brown, though she does go darker and lighter from time to time, just for a change. Her smile is infectious when she does smile, and she has a tattoo of a feather behind her left ear, along with a heart on the side of her right wrist.

Personality: Claire, when you get to know her, is a really kind person. Upon first impression, most people will note that Claire is strong-willed, pensive and quite sarcastic. She's quick with one-liners, barely needing to think of them if the opportunity presents itself. She keeps guards up around herself until she gets to know a person well, and only then will she appear vulnerable and allow those walls to come down. She relies heavily on her music as an outlet for her fears and emotions, as well as the shooting range when she's really angry.
History: From a young age, Claire was trained by her parents as a con-woman. Her parents were, of course, con-men, but at the same time liked to think of themselves as rogue versions of Torchwood. In reality, they were far, FAR from it, just a pair of con-men who hunted down aliens for their tech and knowledge. She went to elementary, middle and high school before they thought she knew enough to be part of their team, but by that time she'd decided she wanted nothing to do with the whole thing. She retained the information, however, and when her parents ran off to Cardiff and left her after hearing about the spike in rift activity, she decided to work for the police in order to bring down people like her parents. Over the years with her parents, she'd become very untrusting, and has only a few close friends. While working with the police force, she discovered that she preferred working as a forensic tech, though she does work in the field as well. From one of her experiences in the field, and double crossing her parents by giving up some knowledge she had of their whereabouts, she's earned a few enemies, and one stalker, though he has sense been captured and incarcerated. For the last three years, she's been performing in local venues around her hometown, though her coworkers know nothing about it because she refuses to tell them.
