Physical Description: She stands about 5'6 and has bright, over sized blue eyes. Every blood member of her family had the blue eyes, retained it in all their regenerations. Her voice is even in pitch and her singing can quite literally shatter glass, even as a human. She is a bit on the petite side, but has a nice feminine figure.
Personality: She somehow manages to be both shy and outgoing. She enjoys people and helping others. When onstage for a show or just for fun she is very boisterous and personable, but off stage she's fairly secretive. Nana hides her strange dreams from everyone else, her dreams of the beautiful mountains of a strange planet, adventures she had been on, but always knew(thought) were impossible.
The Muse's personality is similar, but braver. She realizes that she is the keeper of the songs of Gallifrey and that she must hold fast to those secrets. It was important not to lose the songs, but also important that others never find out the secrets she holds in the songs of her heart. She is resilient and a bit hard headed, but has never been a warrior.
History: The Muse was born on Gallifrey, a world where time was relative. She was born to a loving and attentive family who recognized her skill at music very early on. As a child she was often found singing, dancing or making instruments of random objects. At 7 she was given her first real instrument and cherished it all her life. When she faced the void at age 8, she was more curious than anything. Instead of hearing the thrumming of adventure, or the drums of war she heard a melody. The song of her people that would forever linger in her heart and mind. The song she would live her life by and one that she would continue singing until her last breath.
She went to the academy along side The Doctor and The Master, kept to herself for most of those years. She was quiet and felt awkward most of her young years. The one true place she found comfort was playing instruments and singing. She loved singing. Her life was singing. As the closing of the years at the academy came, she was intrusted with something great, something important: The songs of Gallifrey. The stories of the timeless, thought to be immortal race. She stored them all within her heart and mind, able to call on any one of them when it was requested of her.
Before the time war, her parents felt something was going on and sent their only child away. She thought they were disowning her, but for what she didn't know. She was sent through time and space and landed in 2005, a human with no recollection of her former life. She lived for the next three years perfectly human. Nana became famous, a voice that seemed to be otherworldly quickly earned her recognition on stage, screen and many a recording studio. She was interviewed with a magazine in London and they asked where her skill came from. She said that there were strange dreams she had sometimes, 'very Scifi', and the songs she sang were part of them. They just stuck with her, she always heard them, sometimes more strongly than others.
It seemed like every Christmas the singing was louder, stronger. Sometimes she would pass by a corner, or see a handsome tall man with a great head of hair and her head would just sing. She had no idea why, but it just did. Little did she know, the trinket around her neck, the stop watch that didn't open was doing the singing. She thought it was just an heirloom from her family, but it wasn't. It was so much more. She just went about her life though in complete ignorance of what was out there, like all humans. Completely unaware of what she could do, where she could go, or who she was.
