Physical Description: John is tall, lanky, with a slight build. He has pale skin, with blue eyes, and shaggy black hair. He likes to wear button up plaid shirts, with a sweat shirt, or jacket.
Personality: John is usually very optimistic, and up beat. He's rarely upset, and doesn't usually hold grudges. Even though John appears happy and carefree most of the time, he still has a dark side that would haunt anyone's nightmares. John loves to learn new things, and loves to do so by reading books. He doesn't like guns, or violence, put he'll use them if needed. John dreams to see the universe and different time periods, he's afraid of regenerating sense he doesn't know a lot about it. He tends to ramble when under pressure, and can sometimes hyperventilate making himself pass out or faint.
History: John was born on Gallifrey 20 years before the Great Time War. He had just started attending the academy, when the Time War was started. During the Time War his parents took him out of the academy placing him on Earth until the war was over. He stayed on Earth posing as a young adult trying to leave a mark on the world while his parents fought in the Time War. A couple of weeks later he found out that Gallifrey had been destroyed along with all Time Lords and Daleks. John had trouble coping with the fact that he was stranded on Earth, with little knowledge of Time Lord analogy, and that he could be the last of his kind.
He bought a flat in London, and got a job at the local Library. He never gave up hope that one day he would meet another Time Lord that had escaped the Time War, and that he would finally be able to get off of Earth and see the Universe and all its wonders.

John was putting books away in the children s section when a little girl ran up to hug him. " John! Guess what?!" John looked down at the little girl clinging to his torso, and smiled. Julie was one of the little kids that he would occasionally read books to. She was often left here alone because her parents worked in the building next door and used the library as a type of preschool. So he would usually watch over her, and keep her company until her parents came to pick her up. " What Julie?" He asked with a wide smile. " I get to stay here all day today! So I can spend even more time with you! Isn't that exciting!" John laughed. For a little girl she rarely got excited, but when she did she made a big deal about it. For example as she spoke she began to jump up and down in pure excitement. " Yes that is very exciting." John said as he held Julie still. " Does that mean you'll be able to read me even more books today?" John was successful in keeping her from jumping up and down, but now she was walking in a circle around him. " I won't be able to read you as many books as I usually do. I need to put away these books first."
As he said this Julie looked at the trolley pact full with books and stopped walking looking put down. " But that will take you forever! Can't you do it later?" John giggled as he crouched down to look her in the eyes. " I could do it later, but that wouldn't be right because its my job to get these in their right spaces..." As he said this he noticed Julie looking less and less excited and happy. " But, it would go faster if I had help." He looked at Julie with a big smile. " Would you like to help put the books away?" Julie started jumping up and down with excitement again. " Oh yes please! " Smiling John returned to his full height, picking up a book from the trolley and handing it to the little girl. Who began to look for a place to put it on the bookshelf. At least he wouldn't be alone today.
