It's that time again!!
Now, don't panic. Everyone starts in the pending list.
This simply means that once you reply to this with a link to a thread you are active in and have replied to sometime in the month of August, You have saved your character. No muss, no fuss.
"But, D.G.!! I'm still working on my app!!" No problem! Just link us to your W.I.P. app and it will count for this month.
"Hey, I only just started and haven't gotten into any threads yet!" Well, there's lots of ways to fix that! Start a plotting thread for your characters and see if anyone nibbles! Plus you can always make an Open Thread for others to hop into and list it here. Or, if you see an open thread, feel free to hop into that. BOOM! You have saved your character for the month. Just be sure to stay active with your threads and don't leave your RP buddies hanging.
"Hey, D.G., I wont be able to do the check this month. I have finals." Hey, we here at Chaos completely understand. Real Life always takes priority to posting. But be sure you do everyone a kindness and post in the away boards and be sure to list what characters this effect so Staff can save them for your glorious return. However, PLEASE keep in mind that the Away boards is NOT a last minute solution. You have all month to work on replies. Waiting until the last week of the check to post in the away boards is just going to irritate the staff and get your characters removed anyway. Please, don't do that.
If you just don't have the muse or inspiration, just let that character go. No one will hold it against you. RP should be fun, not a chore.
The Check begins on the first of each month and ends when the new check begins the next month. So, you have plenty of time.
As an added bonus, if you REALLY wanna help out your staff here at Chaos, feel free to list any threads you were in that have ended or died so we can archive them for you! That would be the bombdiggity and we would adore you for it!
